UPPER DARBY, PA \u2014 An Upper Darby man was taken unto custody after authorities said he hit his wife.<\/p>\n
Pennsylvania State Police said troopers were called to a property on the 1000 block of West Baltimore Pike in Middletown Township at about 2:05 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n
There, the spoke with a 42-year-old woman who said her husband hit her in her mouth.<\/p>\n
Troopers noted the woman’s lower lip was bloodied.<\/p>\n
The woman’s husband, identified as MD Ziaul Haque, 43, of Upper Darby, was taken into custody.<\/p>\n
He was charged with simple assault and harassment, according to court documents.<\/p>\n
Haque was held after failing to post 10 percent of $10,000, court records show. <\/p>\n
