Members of the Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department took part in the annual \u201cShop with a Firefighter\u201d program along with other volunteers.<\/p>\n

Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department members joined other volunteers Dec. 4 at Boscov\u2019s East for their annual \u201cShop with a Firefighter\u201d event at Boscov\u2019s East. The department partners with Boscov\u2019s to provide 20 Exeter School District students with a gift card to shop with a firefighter. The students shop for their family and themselves at Boscov\u2019s East to help make their holiday brighter.<\/p>\n

NorthStar United Methodist Church members along with state Sen. Judy Schwank and Rep. Mark Gillen joined the group, which featured an appearance by Santa himself.<\/p>\n

Chief Christopher Jordan said he doesn\u2019t have to twist arms to get members to participate.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey look forward to it every year,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
