Some even are accepting new and used items shipped via Amazon or other retailers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>MORE:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.phillyvoice.com\/eagles-super-bowl-championship-ring-auction\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eagles lineman who never played a snap puts Super Bowl LIX ring up for auction<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here are several organizations in need of food, clothing or gift contributions and how to donate to them:<\/p>\n<p>Food<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sharefoodprogram.org\/get-involved\/donate-food\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Share Food Program (2901 W. Hunting Park Ave.)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Share Food Program stocks a number of pantries, community fridges and other resources in Philadelphia. It accepts food and hygiene projects at the Share Food Community Fridge in Allegheny West.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/broadstreetlove.org\/donate\/wishlist-items-needed\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Broad Street Love (315 S. Broad St.)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Broad Street Love helps stabilize residents struggling with deep poverty, offering meals and medical services. Donations can include raw produce, protein, pantry staples and cheese, and can be delivered by a <a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/broadstreetlove.org\/donate\/wishlist-items-needed\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">scheduling a drop-off<\/a>. The organization also accepts used clothing and personal care items like socks and deodorant.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/caringforfriends.org\/donate\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Caring for Friends (12271 Townsend Road)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Caring for Friends delivers meals and pantry staples to seniors in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Cans and other shelf-stable items can be dropped off at its headquarters in Northeast Philly. Caring for Friends also accepts prepared food that can be delivered to neighbors.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Community Fridges (Various locations)<\/p>\n<p>There are many community fridges in Philly where people can leave and take food as they please. They include the\u00a0<a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/southphillyfridge.com\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">South Philadelphia Community Fridge<\/a>, the <a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thepeoplesfridge.org\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">People&#8217;s Fridge<\/a> in West Philadelphia, <a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mamateefridge.com\/donate\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mamatee<\/a> in North Philadelphia, Germantown Community Fridges. Others can be found on this\u00a0<a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sharefoodprogram.org\/community-fridges\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">map<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.northwestmutualaidcollective.org\/donate\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Northwest Mutual Aid Collective (4647 Stenton Ave.)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The collective delivers fresh produce and dry goods to seniors, low-income residents and people with disabilities in Roxborough, Chestnut Hill, East Falls, Wissahickon, Mt. Airy, Allegheny West, Lincoln and Germantown. It accepts monetary donations and allows donors to ship wish lists of food items through Amazon and Walmart.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Clothing<\/p>\n<p>Cradles to Crayons (Various locations)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The clothing insecurity nonprofit is partnering with two local entities for coat drives this winter. Gently used kids coats, hats, gloves, boots and other warm clothing can be donated to the <a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cradlestocrayons.org\/philadelphia\/nbcbundleup\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bundle Up Philly<\/a> drive sponsored by NBC10\u00a0or the city&#8217;s\u00a0<a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cradlestocrayons.org\/philadelphia\/gearupforwinter\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gear Up for Winter<\/a> drive .\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.projecthome.org\/donate-essential-clothing\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Project HOME (1515 Fairmount Ave.)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>New sweatpants, T-shirts, underwear, socks and new or gently used shoes can be taken to\u00a0Project HOME\u00a0 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays. The items will be given to people with insecure housing. Donors also can purchase items from an <a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/PH_AMAZON-website-hub\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amazon Wish list<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.everywhereproject.org\/clothingdonations\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Everywhere Project (LOVE Park; Ruth and Clearfield streets)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The harm reduction organization needs clothing donations, and accepts winter gear throughout the year. Clothes should be freshly washed, organized by gender and season, and labeled properly. They can be dropped off at\u00a0LOVE Park on Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m. or at Ruth and Clearfield streets in Kensington on Saturdays from 1-4 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.onewarmcoat.org\/share-warmth\/donate-coats\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">One Warm Coat (Various locations)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For people looking to donate clothes in their neighborhoods, One Warm Coat has a searchable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onewarmcoat.org\/share-warmth\/donate-coats\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">map<\/a> that allows people to find the nearest coat drive by entering their ZIP codes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Gifts<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/stfrancisinn.org\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">St. Francis Inn (2441 Kensington Ave.)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>St. Francis Inn provides food, clothing and job services to the Kensington community. This month, the ministry is also searching for people willing to <a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DR17DkUEZ73\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">adopt a family<\/a> by purchasing their Christmas presents.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/lutheransettlement.org\/in-kind-donations\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lutheran Settlement House<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lutheran Settlement House provides food and helps people who are homeless or impacted by domestic violence in Fishtown. Donors can purchase items from the organization&#8217;s Amazon wish lists for kids, teens and adults. They items will be sent to the organization and distributed within the community.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nlna.org\/blog\/operation-santa-2025\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Operation Santa (718 N. Second St.; 980 N. Second St.)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Northern Liberties Neighborhood Association is accepting new and unwrapped gifts for families and seniors.\u00a0Gifts must be dropped off to Liberties Parcel\u00a0or\u00a0Engel &amp; V\u00f6lkers\u00a0by Dec. 10, though monetary donations are being accepted through Dec. 15.\u00a0People looking to volunteer can sign up for gift wrapping and delivery shifts.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uspsoperationsanta.com\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">USPS Operation Santa (Various locations)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Postal Service&#8217;s annual event shows letters to Santa sent from kids and families in need. Through Dec. 13, donors can select a person and send the requested gifts. Adopters also can team up to help a whole family.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a data-original-title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DRz9szXEQrf\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Philly People of Hope (31 N. 60th St.)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Toys including dolls, puzzles and cars and small gift sets for adults can be brought to Philly People of Hope through Dec. 20,\u00a0from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and Fridays and Saturdays.
