Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday afternoon demolished two Palestinian homes in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, displacing families, and assaulting residents.<\/p>\n
Jamal Sabatin, head of the Husan Village Council, stated that a military force accompanied by bulldozers and heavy machinery invaded the village and stationed itself in the Shu\u2019ab Hammad area.<\/p>\n
Soldiers then demolished a two\u2011story home belonging to Ali Muhammad Ali Hamamra, with each floor measuring 200 square meters.<\/p>\n
Shortly afterward, they proceeded to demolish the three\u2011story home of his brother, Bara\u2019 Hamamra.<\/p>\n
Rami Hamamra, director of the village council, reported that Israeli forces also severely beat the brothers\u2019 father, Mohammad Ali Hamamra, leaving him with bruises and injuries across his body.<\/p>\n
It is worth mentioning that the army refused to allow the families to remove their furniture and belongings from the homes before demolishing them. The soldiers also demolished an agricultural structure during the invasion.<\/p>\n
The demolitions lead to protests before the soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.<\/p>\n
