There could be some snow Wednesday before turning to rain in the Lehigh Valley.<\/p>\n
Snow is expected to start in the morning before changing to a wintry mix, according to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey. That should turn to rain later in the day, forecasters said.<\/p>\n
Little, if any, snow accumulation is expected in most of the Lehigh Valley. An inch of snow is possible in the northern parts of the region.<\/p>\n
The expected snow Wednesday comes during a very cold period. A low of 8 was recorded Tuesday, nearly reaching a record of 7 set on that day in both 1989 and 2002, according to weather service data.<\/p>\n
Temperatures are expected to be warmer, with lows in the 20s, the rest of the week. There is a chance of more snow Friday night.<\/p>\n

Wednesday: Rain and snow likely before 1 p.m., then rain. High near 40. South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.<\/p>\n
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 35. West wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.<\/p>\n
Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 35.<\/p>\n
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38.<\/p>\n
Sunday: A chance of snow. Partly sunny, with a high near 33. Chance of precipitation is 30%.<\/p>\n
