\n Reading FC will be looking to bounce back at the University of Bradford Stadium on Saturday following their 2-1 defeat to Peterborough at the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Tuesday.\n<\/p>\n
\n Speaking to The Yorkshire Post ahead of the Saturday bout, Bradford City manager Graham Alexander gave some injury updates to some key players\n<\/p>\n
\n He said: \u201cWe\u2019ve had a little bit of illness, obviously with Cooky [Andy Cook] at the weekend and we\u2019ve had a couple more since then.\n<\/p>\n
\n “There were a couple off today. Cooky was back in but he\u2019s not trained since last Wednesday so he\u2019s had a week of recuperating and so forth.\n<\/p>\n
\n “There were a couple of others off today but we hope to see them on Friday.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We\u2019re in a relatively good place. Bobby [Pointon] is coming back from suspension so he\u2019s available so we\u2019ve got quite a strong squad.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Bradford’s number nine Andy Cook has made 13 appearances for the Bantams this season across all competitions and is yet to score in the league. His last appearance was as a substitute during Bradford’s 3-0 loss to Bolton in the EFL Trophy on December 2.\n<\/p>\n
\n Whilst midfielder Bobby Pointon, who is Bradford’s joint top scorer this season in the league with Antoni Sarcevic (6), also last played against Bolton.\n<\/p>\n
\n Alexander also confirmed that Lewis Richards, who has only made four appearances this season for Bradford, will be out until the new year with a hamstring injury.\n<\/p>\n
\n He said: \u201cHe\u2019s going to be out for four to six weeks, so it\u2019s not a major one. We\u2019re delighted with that and he\u2019s really relieved.\n<\/p>\n
\n “He\u2019s already out running on the grass with Bobby [Scarborough] as is Matt Pennington. They are really good at getting people moving straight away.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cYou\u2019re probably looking at the start of January for Lewis being back.”\n<\/p>\n
