He subsequently chaired both the board of trustees at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/pittsburgh\/organization\/carnegie-mellon-university\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carnegie Mellon University<\/a> and the board of the Allegheny Conference on Community Development.
