{"id":57511,"date":"2025-12-10T17:29:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-10T17:29:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/57511\/"},"modified":"2025-12-10T17:29:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-10T17:29:08","slug":"see-how-center-citys-wanamaker-building-may-look-in-the-future-nbc10-philadelphia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/57511\/","title":{"rendered":"See how Center City\u2019s Wanamaker Building may look in the future \u2013 NBC10 Philadelphia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New plans have been revealed, offering the first glimpse at what the future may hold for Center City\u2019s historic Wanamaker Building.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tfc.io\/file\/VUtzMTRIeUl5TUdBVWlYSDR3K2RFdz09Ojo2TmtrL0ZaaUjBTV2FkQVlH\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Renderings released by the building\u2019s owner show proposed changes<\/a> to the historic property on 13th Street. <\/p>\n<p>Plans call for the former Macy\u2019s space on the first three floors to be split into several smaller retail stores.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the upper floors would be turned into loft apartments, and a new rooftop bar is also part of the proposal.<\/p>\n<p>The plans still need approval from the Philadelphia Historical Commission.
