An Eagles Hall of Famer is calling on the team to sack its offensive coordinator following a 22-19 loss in overtime to the Chargers<\/a> on \u201cMonday Night Football.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Former running back LeSean McCoy had a strong stance on OC Kevin Patullo, laying the blame for the Eagles\u2019 recent struggles offensively squarely at his feet and declared that if Patullo was back, he would call on the franchise to unretire his No. 25.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIf he\u2019s back, I\u2019m leaving the Eagles,\u201d McCoy declared on the \u201cSpeakeasy\u201d podcast alongside Emmanuel Acho and Kieran Hickey-Semple.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When Acho mentioned that McCoy was in the team\u2019s Hall of Fame, McCoy doubled down on his take.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTake me off,\u201d McCoy said. \u201cNobody has ever asked. I\u2019m going to say \u2018Mr. Lurie, it\u2019s either me or Kevin.\u2019 \u2026 If Kevin is not fired, put 25 back out there on the street. Let one of the rookies get it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGive the kicker my number if Kevin is still there. Kevin be on some bullcrap,\u201d he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Eagles\u2019 offense struggled in three straight losses, and that includes quarterback Jalen Hurts having one of the worst outings of his career in the loss to the Chargers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Philly turned over the ball five times, and Hurts completed 21-of-40 passes for 240 yards while throwing four interceptions and fumbling once.\u00a0<\/p>\n

McCoy went to great lengths during the segment to defend Hurts and did not blame head coach Nick Sirianni. <\/p>\n

The Eagles have lost to the Cowboys, Bears and Chargers over the last three weeks, but will have a more forgiving schedule to wrap up the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll face the Raiders on Sunday before playing two of their final three games against the Commanders.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Eagles\u2019 Week 17 meeting with the Bills is likely their toughest game left on the calendar.\u00a0Philly is still in first in the NFC East with an 8-5 record.<\/p>\n
