There is always room for innovation is the philosophy Kat Fox has applied in her life and has found success following it.<\/p>\n
\u201cI believe in disrupting stale practices and introducing new ideas to age-old methods,\u201d says the owner and founder of Kat Fox Design, Dickson City.<\/p>\n
As the sole owner and employee the business woman oversees and executes all client projects while running the business behind the scenes including networking, client onboarding, digital marketing, among many other responsibilities.<\/p>\n
Fox attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and completed a degree in jewelry design after graduating from Abington Heights High School.<\/p>\n
She\u00a0 worked in the fine jewelry industry in Manhattan for five years where she discovered her true passion for marketing and digital design. She built a skill set of website design, graphic design, social media marketing, and digital marketing within the industry in New York City, later in Southern Colorado, and officially began working for herself in 2023 in Pennsylvania. She is the first in her family to own and run her own business.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have found a place in business in each place I lived due to my versatility and willingness to learn,\u201d she admits<\/p>\n
Fox is grateful to her inner circle of her family and friends who provide her with the support she needs. Her sister, friends since high school, new friends she has met during business networking events, are all the people she surrounds herself with in her life.<\/p>\n
\u201cI learn and become inspired by those around me including friends, family and fellow business owners. My skill set is completely self-taught but I rely on the care and support from others who have rooted for me along the way and have been there to share ideas,\u201d she admits.<\/p>\n
The business woman believes hard work around the clock, believing in herself, and her stubborn attitude are all ingredients to her success. \u201cI do not believe in failure. I believe in learning, pivoting and being resourceful are the keys to success,\u201d she admits.<\/p>\n
Fox is\u00a0 a member and volunteer at the Scranton Chamber of Commerce where she attends business networking group events.<\/p>\n
