Jodi Shay, age 54, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday morning, December 10, 2025, in her residence.<\/p>\n
She was born in Meadville on August 6, 1971, a daughter of Robert and Barbara (Casler) Shay.<\/p>\n
Jodi graduated from Maplewood High School, earned her degree in Education from Trinity University, and later completed her Master of Divinity at the University of Denver.<\/p>\n
She was an avid Erie SeaWolves fan and enjoyed camping and boating at Pymatuning, as well as traveling, cooking, playing the piano, and listening to music.<\/p>\n
She is survived by her father, Robert Shay of Meadville; a brother, James Shay and his wife Amy of Beaver, PA; a nephew, Christian Shay and his wife Victoria; a niece, Brittany Brumbaugh and her husband Ryan; a great niece, Chloe Shay.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her mother.<\/p>\n
Family and friends will be received on Friday December 12, 2025, from 4:00- 6:00PM at ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC. 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.<\/p>\n
Burial will be private in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.<\/p>\n
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, PA 16335<\/p>\n
