Snow has led to multiple crashes during the Wednesday evening commute across northern portions of the Lehigh Valley.<\/p>\n
Route 100 was shut down in the area of Lyon Valley Road due to icy road conditions, according to the Emergency Alerts of Lehigh County Facebook page.<\/p>\n
In South Whitehall Township, multiple crashes shut down\u00a0Mechanicsville Road at Mauch Chunk Road around 5 p.m., according to the Newsworking Facebook page. Newsworking also reported crashes on Ruchsville Road Near South Church Street.<\/p>\n
Crashes were also reported across Moore Township in Northampton County, according to scanner reports.<\/p>\n
The icy conditions came as the area was under a winter weather advisory<\/a>, which has since expired as the precipitation has turned over to rain.
