Driving on a stretch of Banksville Road changed a man\u2019s life forever when he was shot in the face. On Thursday, he reluctantly agreed to a plea deal that puts the shooter in jail for at least four years. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s something I think about every single day, and I will continue to every single day,\u201d Bob Long said. \u201cEvery time I look in the mirror, I can\u2019t think of it.\u201d <\/p>\n
Bob Long had his last surgery over the summer and is finally back to work, after a business trip to Pittsburgh left him without one of his eyes. <\/p>\n
\u201cI still don\u2019t have an eye, still have a lot of problems in my nasal cavity. Big problems with that,\u201d Long said.<\/p>\n
Rashawn Hall<\/a> took the plea deal and was sentenced to four to eight years in prison. Hall admitted to firing at Long as they drove onto the Parkway West off of Banksville Road. <\/p>\n PREVIOUS COVERAGE >>> Man shot in eye while traveling on Parkway West in Pittsburgh<\/a><\/p>\n At first, Long was reluctant to agree to that sentence. <\/p>\n \u201cIt was anger. It was definitely anger. I pretty much shut down the DA after that. I said, \u2018Don\u2019t bother calling me, emailing me\u2026I have to process this,” Long said. <\/p>\n He ultimately agreed. <\/p>\n \u201cI really wanted to get it behind us. It\u2019s been a long time.
