If Harbor Creek<\/a> was riding high fresh off their 46-16 takedown of Seneca on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huskies received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 67-52 to the Erie Royals<\/a>. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Royals apparently hadn’t forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.<\/p>\n

Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joe Wagner<\/a>, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. Wagner has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he’s posted one of at least 50% every time he’s hit the court this season. JT Delsandro<\/a> was another key player, going 6-for-10 to rack up 14 points and five assists.<\/p>\n

Harbor Creek’s defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Erie, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead, Harbor Creek will head out on the road to challenge McDowell at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 55 points every time they’ve taken the court this season. As for Erie, they will take on Bishop Canevin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.<\/p>\n
