On those charges, Bores faced a maximum of six years in prison and a $20,000 fine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Bores was scheduled to be sentenced Thursday in Erie County Court of Common Pleas; however, his attorney filed a motion to withdraw the guilty plea.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Judge Roger Binette continued the sentencing and Bores will return to court next month for a hearing on the motion to withdraw the guilty plea.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Bores, 35, was arrested on March 13, 2024 after a tip from Children Services led Erie County Sheriff\u2019s Detectives to his home in the area of State Route 113 in Florence Township.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"An Erie County man was arrested\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/33PIYO7SZ5G6RIHUFAA6U5LM3E.PNG\" width=\"980\" height=\"736\" \/>An Erie County man was arrested(Source: Erie County Sheriff&#8217;s Office)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to detectives, the children were seven and eight years old and are currently being cared for by a relative.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cleveland19.com\/video\/2024\/03\/15\/erie-county-man-accused-using-cattle-prod-discipline-his-young-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">PREVIOUS COVERAGE: Erie County man accused of using a cattle prod to discipline his young children<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WOIO.
