The show began Thursday night and is running through Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Disney magic is truly something special to see,&#8221; said James Robert-Morgan, a skater performing in\u00a0Disney on Ice.<\/p>\n<p>He said he feels fortunate that he is able to travel the world with the company.<\/p>\n<p>A lot goes into the show, including the costumes and the props. The costumes are &#8220;truly a work of art,&#8221;\u00a0Robert-Morgan said.<\/p>\n<p>Robert-Morgan said the performers put in many hours of practice for the shows. Aerial acrobatics and the immersive experience make the show something special, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Performer Marcus Mimidis said he also enjoys traveling around the world and seeing the faces of people in the audience light up.<\/p>\n<p>He said the ice in different venues have different sizes and textures, so performers practiced at the\u00a0PPL Center ahead of the show to get a feel for the ice.<\/p>\n<p>The show is interactive, giving members of the audience opportunities to participate,\u00a0Mimidis said.<\/p>\n<p>His castmates become like friends and family to him, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Mimidis said he has been performing for 12 years.<\/p>\n<p>Skater\u00a0Ciara Pinckney said she has been performing for eight years. She&#8217;ll be playing the &#8220;Aladdin&#8221; character Jasmine. She said the audience is her favorite thing about performing.<\/p>\n<p>She said that as a fan she never missed a show in her hometown.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ALLENTOWN, Pa. &#8211; Get ready to lace up your skates: Disney on Ice is twirling into Allentown!
