BRECKNOCK TWP., Pa. – The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) announced today its acquisition of Berks County’s Maple Grove Raceway, a destination for drag racing enthusiasts far and wide.<\/p>\n
IHRA officials say this marks a significant milestone for the sport.<\/p>\n
Established in the early 1960s, Maple Grove is nationally recognized as one of the fastest and most respected drag racing venues in the United States.<\/p>\n
Under the leadership of the Koretsky family, the track\u2019s heritage has been well preserved while positioning the location for long-term growth. Officials say the Koretskys will continue to play an active role throughout the transition and in guiding Maple Grove\u2019s future direction.<\/p>\n
