READING, Pa. – A community-centered event designed to help local families prepare for the new school year is once again returning to Reading.<\/p>\n
Mayor Eddie Mor\u00e1n, in partnership with State Representative Manny Guzman, is proud to host the 4th Annual Back-to-School Giveaway.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s event will feature free school supplies for students, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.<\/p>\n
Local barbers and hairstylists will also be on hand offering complimentary back-to-school haircuts, and families will have the opportunity to connect with community organizations sharing valuable local and state resources.<\/p>\n
Free parking will be available at the 6th & Cherry Street lot from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. courtesy of the Reading Parking Authority.<\/p>\n
