Dozens of neglected dogs are now safe after they were rescued from an RV in Berks County, Pennsylvania. <\/p>\n
The Animal Rescue League of Berks County (ARL) said its humane police officers had responded to Grace Street in Reading this week to rescue about 40 dogs from an RV. <\/p>\n
In coordination with other local shelters, ARL has been able to find space for all of the dogs to receive assessment and care. <\/p>\n
Officials said the animals, small terrier-type dogs, were found very dirty and matted, and some were even trembling.<\/p>\n
Due to the influx of dogs, ARL is asking for the community’s help. <\/p>\n
Officials are seeking people to adopt or foster animals due to limited space at their facility.
