{"id":60085,"date":"2025-12-13T14:13:09","date_gmt":"2025-12-13T14:13:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/60085\/"},"modified":"2025-12-13T14:13:09","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T14:13:09","slug":"dorney-sponsors-heroes-for-the-holidays-times-news-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/60085\/","title":{"rendered":"Dorney sponsors Heroes for the Holidays \u2013 Times News Online"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Published December 13. 2025 08:59AM<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__body\">Dorney Park recently hosted its annual Heroes for the Holidays, welcoming 36 local students and more than 60 first responders and volunteers for a meaningful day of connection and holiday cheer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__body\">Held inside White Water Tavern, the event featured a warm meal, gift-wrapping activities and time for students to engage with police, firefighters, EMTs, school partners and community organizations in a positive, supportive setting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__body\">Participating partners included South Whitehall Township Police, Pennsylvania State Police, Cetronia Ambulance Corps &amp; VFD, Upper Macungie Township Police, Parkland School District, Parkland CARES and additional volunteers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__body\">\u201cHeroes for the Holidays is an incredible opportunity to bring our community together,\u201d said Kim Solis, park manager for Dorney Park &amp; Wildwater Kingdom. \u201cWe\u2019re grateful to all the first responders and partners who helped create such a special experience for these students.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Above: A Pennsylvania State Police trooper helps with the Heroes for the Holidays.
