Erie<\/a> has gone a perfect 3-0 against Bear Creek<\/a> recently and they’ll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Tigers will take on the Bears in a tournament on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W’.<\/p>\n Erie’s tournament run continued when they took on Heritage on Thursday. The Tigers fell 58-48 to the Eagles.<\/p>\n The home team had won the previous four meetings between Bear Creek and Chatfield, and Chatfield kept the tradition alive. The Bears were outmatched by the Chargers and fell 87-60.<\/p>\n Erie will have to contain Jacob Williams<\/a> as he made an impact in Bear Creek’s last game. He went 5-for-8 to rack up 18 points. Williams has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he’s posted one of at least 63% every time he’s hit the court this season. Matthew Hegerle<\/a> was another key player, putting up 12 points.<\/p>\n Erie dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bear Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.<\/p>\n Erie didn’t have too much breathing room in their matchup against Bear Creek when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 54-49 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We’ll find out soon enough.<\/p>\n
