\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Chris Colombo II, 39, of Glenburn, tragically left this world on Friday, December 5, 2025, at his home.<\/p>\n
\nBorn on January 7, 1986, Chris was the son of Diane and Christopher Colombo. He graduated from Abington Heights High School in 2004, where he shined on the football field. He went on to earn a degree in construction engineering from Penn State Harrisburg. Chris\u2019s greatest professional aspiration was always to work alongside his family in the business his grandparents built.<\/p>\n
\nChris, in addition to his parents, is survived by; his siblings, Peanie Johnson (Chad), Cassie Colombo (fianc Jon Pringle), and Nick Colombo (fianc Avery Fiorillo); his nephews, Beau and Ty Johnson; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley Petty; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.<\/p>\n
\nHe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Butch and Sue Colombo.<\/p>\n
\nChris was a role model to his younger brother, teaching him how to operate equipment, how to work hard on the football field, and how to stay committed in the classroom.<\/p>\n
\nHe was a loyal friend who maintained close connections with people from all walks of life. Chris was a walking movie quote \u2013 always knowing the perfect moment to drop a line that would spark a smile or a laugh. His goal was simple: to brighten your day.<\/p>\n
\nKnown for his kindness and big heart, Chris had a deep love for animals. He made sure the neighborhood\u2019s stray cats stayed fat and happy through the winter and proudly built what he called The Trump Tower for Outdoor Cats, giving many of them a safe, warm place to sleep on cold nights.<\/p>\n
\nBefore his struggles, Chris lived an active life. He was an avid skier, snowboarder, and wakeboarder. He loved the beach \u2013 Lavallette, New Jersey, in particular. He often said he would own a house there someday so he could visit whenever he wanted. Some of his favorite memories were from summers in Lavallette with his family: walking the boardwalk with his Gram, skimboarding, riding bikes, playing baseball at the school, and evenings in Seaside Heights.<\/p>\n
\nAnother place dear to his heart was Lake Winola, where he spent countless weekends at the family lake house. If he wasn\u2019t behind the boat wakeboarding or skiing, he was sitting on the porch laughing with his grandparents or pitching a Wiffle ball to his younger cousins and brother in the yard.<\/p>\n
\nA true testament to Chris\u2019s impact on the world has been the overwhelming outpouring of love and support shown to his family. Hundreds of friends have walked through the door to share stories, memories, and moments that speak to the man he was.<\/p>\n
\nOur hearts are heavy with the loss of a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend \u2013 but his battle is over, and he is now at peace.<\/p>\n
\nBecause of Chris\u2019s aversion of somber funeral functions, his family will hold a celebration of life in the spring.<\/p>\n
\nContributions in Chris\u2019s memory may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.<\/p>\n
\nChris\u2019s care has been entrusted to Jennings-Calvey and their on site crematory, Clarks Summit.<\/p>\n
