Overland is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging a 73-17 victory over Pueblo South. The Trailblazers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 31 points or more this season.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Erie had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They came out on top against the Impalas by a score of 37-24. The 37-point effort marked the Tigers’ lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn’t matter.<\/p>\n

Overland better focus on containing Reagyn Allen<\/a> and Juliet Slater<\/a> as the pair were huge in Erie’s win. Allen posted 12 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals, while Slater went 6-for-14 en route to 15 points along with six boards and five steals. Slater has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she’s played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Greenlee<\/a>, who scored eight points and five boards.<\/p>\n

Overland’s win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Erie, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.<\/p>\n

Overland beat Erie 49-41 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trailblazers since the squad won’t have the home-court advantage this time around. We’ll see if the change in venue makes a difference.<\/p>\n
