Philadelphia is bracing for significant snowfall as a winter storm warning is in effect through 1 p.m. Sunday, with forecasters predicting 3 to 6 inches of accumulation.<\/p>\n
Snow is expected to end around 9 a.m, just in time to get Lincoln Financial Field ready for the Eagles<\/a>\u2019 Week 15 game against the Raiders, according to AccuWeather<\/a>.<\/p>\n Dangerously cold conditions are forecast to follow the snowfall on Sunday afternoon. RealFeel temperatures are expected to plummet from 12 degrees at 1 p.m. to 5 degrees by 6 p.m. At these temperatures, frostbite can occur on exposed skin within 15 minutes.<\/p>\n Winds from the west-northwest will intensify throughout Sunday, reaching 17 mph by noon with gusts up to 22 mph. The actual temperature on Sunday morning is forecast to be around 29 degrees at 9 a.m., though the RealFeel temperature will be 14 degrees due to the increasing winds.<\/p>\n The Philadelphia Eagles will be without two key starters in their Week 15. Defensive tackle Jalen Carter and tackle Lane Johnson have been ruled out for the game.<\/p>\n The team\u2019s official injury report, released Dec. 12, 2025, shows Carter is dealing with a shoulder injury while Johnson has a foot injury. Neither player participated in practice throughout the week.<\/p>\n Tackle Cameron Williams is questionable for the game with a shoulder injury. Williams was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday.<\/p>\n Several other Eagles players appeared on the injury report but are expected to play. Guard Landon Dickerson, who was managing calf soreness and rest, did not practice Thursday but was a full participant Friday. Linebacker Zack Baun and long snapper Charley Hughlett were full participants all week despite dealing with hand and abdomen injuries, respectively. Tackle Fred Johnson was limited on Thursday with an ankle injury before fully practicing on Friday.<\/p>\n The Raiders have also ruled out multiple players, including quarterback Geno Smith, who is dealing with shoulder and back injuries, wide receiver Alex Bachman with a thumb injury, and offensive tackle Kolton Miller with an ankle injury.
