PennDOT maintenance crews<\/a> will conduct bridge repairs, crack sealing, and other roadwork across Lehigh County<\/a> starting Monday, Dec. 15, with most projects causing daytime lane restrictions.<\/p>\n

Bridge repair work will begin on Limeport Pike in Upper Saucon Township between Spinnerstown Road and Elementary Road from Dec. 15-16. Lane restrictions will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. <\/p>\n

In Lynn Township, crews will repair a bridge on Route 309 North between Memorial Road and Mountain Road from Dec. 17-19, with lane restrictions and flagging during the same daytime hours.<\/p>\n

Crack sealing projects will affect multiple roads throughout the week. Work begins Dec. 15 on Walnut Street in Macungie Borough, Sell Road in Lowhill Township, Oriole Road\/Long Court in Heidelberg Township, and Chestnut Street in Lower Macungie and Emmaus. <\/p>\n

Additional crack sealing is scheduled for Macungie Mountain Road in Lower Macungie Township on Dec. 16-17, Route 222 in Upper Macungie Township on Dec. 16-17, Spinnerstown Road in Lower Milford Township on Dec. 18, and Werleys Corner Road in Lowhill Township on Dec. 18-19.<\/p>\n

Projects scheduled for Dec. 19 include crack sealing on Trexlertown Road in Lower Macungie and Upper Macungie townships and Kings Highway in Lower Milford and Upper Milford townships. Most crack sealing work will involve lane restrictions with flagging between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

Brush cutting operations will take place on Shankweiler Road in North Whitehall Township from Dec. 15-19 with lane restrictions and flagging. Crews will also cut brush along Route 222 between Cetronia Road and Route 100 in Upper Macungie Township on Dec. 16-17 with no traffic restrictions.<\/p>\n

Pothole patching on Interstate 78 between Exit 49 and the Northampton County line will require nighttime lane restrictions in both directions from Dec. 15-20. Work will occur from 8 p.m. to midnight across Upper Macungie, South Whitehall, Salisbury, and Upper Saucon.<\/p>\n

None of the scheduled projects are expected to experience delays due to rain.<\/p>\n
