On Monday evening, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian child in the town of Tuqu\u2019, southeast of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.<\/p>\n
Taysir Abu Mofarreh, head of the Tuqu\u2019 municipal council, stated that 16\u2011year\u2011old Ammar Yasser Mohammad Ta\u2019amra was shot in the chest by Israeli soldiers and succumbed to his wounds.<\/p>\n
Medical teams transferred him first to the town\u2019s clinic, where he was pronounced dead, before his body was moved to Beit Jala Government Hospital.<\/p>\n
Abu Mofarreh added that Israeli forces stormed the town, leading to protests before soldiers randomly fired live rounds, tear gas, and stun grenades, fatally wounding the child and causing several cases of suffocation among residents.<\/p>\n
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces also surrounded worshippers inside Abu Bakr as\u2011Siddiq Mosque in the town center during evening prayers, preventing them from leaving while firing tear gas into the area<\/p>\n
On Sunday evening, 23 year old Mohammad Wael al-Sharouf<\/a> was killed by Israeli occupation forces at the northern entrance of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.<\/p>\n Also Sunday, the Detainees\u2019 Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners\u2019 Society (PPS) reported, on Sunday, the death of Palestinian detainee<\/a>,\u00a0Sakhr Ahmad Za\u2019oul<\/a>\u00a0(26 years old) from the town of Husan, west of Bethlehem. Za\u2019oul was abducted in June of 2025, while Israeli authorities tortured him, despite having no charges filed against him.<\/p>\n On Saturday, Israeli forces killed the Palestinian child<\/a>,\u00a0Mohammad Eyad Mohammad Abahra<\/a>\u00a0(16 years old) and confiscated his body, after shooting him in the town of Silat al-Harithiya, northwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank.<\/p>\n Since the beginning of the Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, occupation forces have killed 1098 Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, including 227 children and 24 women.<\/p>\n In the Jenin governorate,\u00a0308 Palestinians have been killed, while 213 were killed in Tulkarem, 138 in Nablus,\u00a0105 in Hebron, 98 in Tubas,\u00a081 in Ramallah, 60 in Jerusalem, 42 in Qalqilia, 33 in Bethlehem, 13 in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, and 7 in Salfit, according to the Shireen Observatory.<\/p>\n
