READING, Pa. – Authorities have released the identity of the pedestrian who died after being struck by a car in Reading Friday night.<\/p>\n
45-year-old Felicita Estevez was pronounced dead at Reading Hospital just after 6 p.m.<\/p>\n
She was struck by a vehicle in the 1200 block of Schuylkill Avenue and transported by EMS due to the extent of her injuries.<\/p>\n
Officials say the driver remained at the scene to provide aid to the victim while waiting for first responders to arrive.<\/p>\n
No information has been released at this time about the circumstances surrounding the accident.<\/p>\n
The Berks County Coroner’s Office determined that Estevez’s death was caused by blunt force trauma.
