CJ Thompson scored 14 points in the second half to lift No. 6 Holy Cross to a 49-40 win over Holy Redeemer<\/a> in a boys basketball nonleague game Monday night.<\/p>\n

Colin Farrell drilled two free throws in the second half and finished with 11 points for the Crusaders (4-2).<\/p>\n

Kyaire McLeon led Holy Redeemer (2-3) with 10 points.<\/p>\n

Riverside 71, Scranton 47:\u00a0Michael Schimelfenig and Kyle Connor each scored 11 points in the first quarter to get the top-ranked Vikings off to a fast start and a big lead in a nonleague win<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Schimelfenig finished with 16 points and Connor had 14. Nico Antoniacci led the way for Riverside (5-0) with 21 points and 11 rebounds, and Brayden Rose added 12 points.<\/p>\n

Tony Battaglia scored 14 points, hitting four 3-pointers, and DeAndre Dickey scored 13 for Scranton (1-3).<\/p>\n

Dunmore 65, Montrose 34:\u00a0Brayden Canavan and Nate Aviles each scored 15 points for the fourth-ranked Bucks in a nonleague win<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Carter Sload added 14 points for Dunmore (5-0).<\/p>\n

Jai Herman scored 13 points, and Sawyer Brown added 11 for Montrose (1-4).<\/p>\n

Delaware Valley 59, Pocono Mountain East 46: Tyler Lombardo scored a game-high 26 points, with 12 coming in the second quarter to lead the seventh-ranked Warriors to a nonleague win<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trey Newton added 12 points for Delaware Valley (4-1).<\/p>\n

Dominic McManus led Pocono Mountain East (3-3) with 16 points.<\/p>\n

Lackawanna Trail 47, Nanticoke Area 31: At Nanticoke, the ninth-ranked Lions held Nanticoke Area to just 10 points in the first half<\/a> to pick up the nonleague victory.<\/p>\n

Lucas Filipek and Logan Seigle each scored 16 points to pace Lackawanna Trail (4-1).<\/p>\n

Louden Mullery and Ethan Yendrzeiwski each had nine points for the Trojans (2-6).<\/p>\n

Elk Lake 59, Valley West 56: At Valley West, Elk Lake hit 24 free throws as the Warriors picked up the nonleague victory<\/a>.<\/p>\n

John Heitsman led Elk Lake (4-1) with 21 points.<\/p>\n

Jaquell Smith and AJ Hickson each had 12 for the Spartans (0-5).<\/p>\n

Pittston Area 71, Lakeland 43:\u00a0Jacob Ivey scored 21 points while hitting six 3-pointers to lead the Patriots to a nonleague win at Lakeland<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Aiden Clarke scored 16 points with four 3-pointers, and Lucas LoPresto also scored 16 points for Pittston Area (4-2).<\/p>\n

Chase Rosenkrans paced No. 10 Lakeland (3-2) with 18 points.<\/p>\n

Wyoming Seminary 58, Susquehanna 57 (OT): At Wyoming Seminary, the Blue Knights rallied to tie the score at 52 after regulation, and outscored Susquehanna by one in the overtime period for the victory.<\/a><\/p>\n

RJ Gernhardt scored 26 points for the Blue Knights, including five of the team\u2019s six points in overtime.<\/p>\n

Griffin Fisk netted 30 points, including 10 of 11 from the free throw line. Hudson Stengel added 13 in the setback.<\/p>\n

Lake-Lehman 50, Mountain View 47: At Mountain View, Lake-Lehman trailed by four heading into the fourth, but outscored the Eagles by seven in the quarter to pick up the nonleague win<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Val Cassano was the lone Black Knight in double figures with 17. Hunter Palka added nine.<\/p>\n
