Here’s a look at how cold it will be for Monday’s Steelers-Dolphins game at Acrisure Stadium.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was 17 degrees<\/a> when the game kicked off at 8:15 p.m., with the wind chill reading at 11 degrees. When the game ended around 11:15 p.m. on Monday, it was 18 degrees, with the wind chill at 10 degrees, according to KDKA First Alert Meteorologist Ray Petelin.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What was the coldest Steelers home game?<\/p>\n

The coldest home game on record for Pittsburgh<\/a>\u00a0was on Dec. 17, 1989, when the Steelers played the New England Patriots at 5 degrees. Pittsburgh’s game on Dec. 24, 2022, against the Raiders is the second-coldest game on record at 8 degrees.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Monday night’s game had a low temperature of 17 degrees, tying it with two others<\/a>, including a game against the Dolphins in 2017, for the sixth-coldest Steelers home games on record.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Steelers fans brave the cold<\/p>\n

On the North Shore, Pittsburgh fans showed up<\/a> in layers to tailgate for Monday’s game, saying nothing was going to stop them from cheering on the black and gold.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Heated vest, heated scarf, heated socks, heated gloves,” Steelers fan Jessica Bigles said pregame.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Miami Dolphins practice in snow<\/p>\n

To prepare for Monday’s low temperatures, the Dolphins<\/a>\u00a0practiced in snow at Robert Morris University’s Joe Walton Stadium on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

In a video posted to X<\/a>, Miami was seen going through practice on a snow-covered field.
