{"id":62816,"date":"2025-12-16T23:49:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T23:49:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/62816\/"},"modified":"2025-12-16T23:49:11","modified_gmt":"2025-12-16T23:49:11","slug":"broken-rail-on-t-track-disrupting-light-rail-service-prt-says-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/62816\/","title":{"rendered":"Broken rail on T track disrupting light-rail service, PRT says \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 A broken rail on the outbound track of the T along Warrington Avenue has disrupted light-rail service, Pittsburgh Regional Transit said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The rail requires immediate repairs, which PRT expects will continue all afternoon and overnight. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">While repairs are being made, PRT will operate bus shuttles between Station Square and South Hills Junction. PRT route foremen are on-site at Station Square and South Hills Junction to assist passengers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Light-rail service will continue to operate between Station Square and Allegheny Station.
