Born in Scranton on October 5, 2009, Dylan was the beloved son of Sara Elizabeth Calder and his stepfather, John Borie.<\/p>\n<p>\nA sophomore at Riverside High School, Dylan was a proud member of the Vikings football team. His love for music and computer games reflected his joyful spirit and curiosity. Dylan dreamed of becoming a mechanic and was eager to work at his girlfriend\u2019s family garage \u2013 a career path he looked forward to pursuing after graduation.<\/p>\n<p>\nDylan\u2019s memory will be cherished by his brother, Michael Giehll; sisters, Cheyanne Richards, Emily Calder, and Hannah Smith; nephew, Javier Cortez; his girlfriend, Giulliana Labora; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
