The Christmas and New Year\u2019s holidays are fast approaching. For many people, that will mean extensive cooking and baking, and stocking up on all of the necessary ingredients beforehand. For last minute additions, it pays to know ahead of time when stores will close on Christmas Eve and New Year\u2019s Eve so you don\u2019t end up dashing through the snow to find the doors locked.<\/p>\n
Giant is the only major grocery store in the Hellertown and Coopersburg areas, which means that many residents of the Saucon Valley and Southern Lehigh areas rely on it for last minute purchases.<\/p>\n
According to a company email, all Giant stores will have the following 2025 holiday hours:<\/p>\n
Christmas Eve (Wednesday, Dec. 24)\u00a0\u2013 Stores open until 6 p.m. and pharmacies open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Christmas Day (Thursday, Dec. 25)\u00a0\u2013 Stores and pharmacies will be closed
New Year\u2019s Eve (Wednesday, Dec. 31)\u00a0\u2013 Stores open until 8 p.m. and pharmacies open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
New Year\u2019s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1)\u00a0\u2013 Stores open regular hours; pharmacies will be closed<\/p>\n
Giant\u2019s regular hours in Hellertown are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. The Hellertown Giant pharmacy is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Giant\u2019s regular hours in Coopersburg are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The Coopersburg Giant pharmacy has the same hours as Hellertown.<\/p>\n
