BUSHKILL TWP., Pa. – Authorities are accusing a Northampton County man of home improvement fraud.<\/p>\n
Scott Miller is charged with home improvement fraud, deceitful business practices, theft by deception, and receiving stolen property, according to a news release from the Bushkill Township Police Department.<\/p>\n
On November 5, 2025, a resident from the 400 block of Heyer Mill Road reported a fraudulent incident involving a contractor, township police said.<\/p>\n
Police said the victim entered into a contract with Scott Miller on Sept. 27 to construct a pole building on their property for $26,000.<\/p>\n
A deposit of $13,000 was paid to Miller.
