Wildwater Kingdom will open May 23.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"DDAVKR5MCVA6DPQKCXJC56RMAI\">Details on 2026 events will be announced early in the new year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"55IXYXYSZBDPXAQEE34NRPL4M4\">The complex in South Whitehall Township has more than 60 rides, shows and attractions. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleylive.com\/entertainment\/2024\/04\/dorney-park-iron-menace-roller-coaster-review-a-flipping-dive-of-a-ride.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleylive.com\/entertainment\/2024\/04\/dorney-park-iron-menace-roller-coaster-review-a-flipping-dive-of-a-ride.html\">Iron Menace<\/a> debuted in 2024. It\u2019s the northeast region\u2019s first \u201cdive\u201d roller coaster, a coaster with at least one totally vertical drop. The coaster\u2019s 21-seat car reaches speeds of up to 64 mph.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"MM3SMATAGJEG7JDYV247ARR4JI\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sixflags.com\/dorneypark\/wildwater-kingdom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.sixflags.com\/dorneypark\/wildwater-kingdom\">Wildwater Kingdom<\/a> features multiple water slides, a wave pool and kiddie areas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"BIFBORN5VBFMXEH3WUVIHBAG7I\">The park\u2019s former owner, Cedar Fair, <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/cedar-fair-six-flags-amusement-park-3c7cb2fcce6b3125385fdedb1539199c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/cedar-fair-six-flags-amusement-park-3c7cb2fcce6b3125385fdedb1539199c\">merged with Six Flags<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"DTGDPL75EJEEPC5N2RPZAIPFCM\">The park opened in 1884.<\/p>\n<p>Rudy Miller is a supervising reporter for lehighvalleylive.com.
