They fell just short of the Chiefs by a score of  47-45. The  matchup marked the Invaders&#8217; lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"infosentience-paragraph\" style=\"order:2\"> Lakeland&#8217;s win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from  <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maxpreps.com\/pa\/jermyn\/lakeland-chiefs\/athletes\/cole-tonkin\/?careerid=21h5sv2tnu9ee\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Cole Tonkin<\/a>, who  posted 13  points. What&#8217;s more,  Tonkin posted four  rebounds, the most he&#8217;s  had since back in December of 2024. <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maxpreps.com\/pa\/jermyn\/lakeland-chiefs\/athletes\/david-naniewicz\/?careerid=r2tq9kp85pfvf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> David Naniewicz<\/a> was another key player,  dropping  a double-double with ten points and ten  boards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"infosentience-paragraph\" style=\"order:3\">West Scranton&#8217;s loss was  their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lakeland, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-2.<\/p>\n<p class=\"infosentience-paragraph\" style=\"order:4\"> West Scranton and Lakeland will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Invaders will  take on  rival Valley View  at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday.
