She was a proud graduate of Jessup High School, Class of 1954.

At the age of 17, Jean moved to Manhattan, where she lived with her Aunt Helen, Uncle Joe, and Cousin Petra, beginning an exciting new chapter while working in the city. It was there that a quick courtship blossomed into a lifelong love, leading to her marriage to Joe on November 3, 1957. Together, they built a beautiful life on Long Island and raised three children: Joseph Michael, Dino Thomas, and Doriann.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 48 years, Joe; her son, Dino; her sister, Elaine; and her brother, Thomas.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Joseph Michael Apice II of Centennial, Colorado; her daughter, Doriann Apice of Washington, D.C.; her grandchildren: Joseph Michael Apice III of Portland, Oregon; Dean Thomas Apice of Centennial, Colorado; and Jena Nikole Haettich and her husband, John, of Health, Texas; and her treasured great-grandchildren: Joshua, Meghan, Anthony, Noami, and Enjoli.
