{"id":66116,"date":"2025-12-20T13:49:12","date_gmt":"2025-12-20T13:49:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/66116\/"},"modified":"2025-12-20T13:49:12","modified_gmt":"2025-12-20T13:49:12","slug":"see-historic-bethlehems-fan-favorite-christmas-trees-in-most-spectacular-lineup-yet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/66116\/","title":{"rendered":"See Historic Bethlehem&#8217;s fan-favorite Christmas trees in &#8216;most spectacular lineup yet&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BETHLEHEM, Pa. \u2014 It\u2019s no surprise in Bethlehem, aka Christmas City USA, that someone will pass <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lehighvalleynews.com\/bethlehem\/a-christmas-city-usa-signature-43-foot-tree-now-lights-up-bethlehem\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a 43-foot signature holiday spruce<\/a> on their way to an exhibition sporting more than 21 decorated Christmas trees.<\/p>\n<p>And while the more than 20 fan-favorite trees aren\u2019t as tall as their big brother at City Hall, the local volunteers and businesses behind decorating the individually themed \u201cTrees of Historic Bethlehem\u201d have done plenty of shining, according to event organizer Historic Bethlehem Museums &amp; Sites.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will be on display in Bethlehem through Sunday, Jan. 11.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the event\u2019s \u201cmost spectacular lineup yet\u201d in two decades of celebrating, HBMS said in a release.<\/p>\n<p>    \u201cThe 2025 trees honor the originals, but we also encouraged the volunteer decorators to incorporate new elements and their own artistic flair into each one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sharon Donchez, co-chair of the Bethlehem Garden Club\u2019s Tree Decorating Committee<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery year\u2019s Trees exhibition is unique in its own way due to the theme,&#8221; said Sharon Donchez, who co-chairs the Bethlehem Garden Club\u2019s Tree Decorating Committee.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;But this year is really special because we\u2019re highlighting some of the most spectacular trees from the past two decades. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 2025 trees honor the originals, but we also encouraged the volunteer decorators to incorporate new elements and their own artistic flair into each one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a family-friendly event featuring all sorts of themes \u2014 as diverse as the Grinch Who Stole Christmas,  Winter Wonderland and Dolce &amp; Gabbana to Bee Tree.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoravians used [bees\u2019] byproduct honey as a sweetener and made candles from the beeswax,\u201d Bethlehem Christmas Shoppe owner Joanne Smida said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur theme of \u2018Bees\u2019 gives thanks for the integral part they have and still contribute to the world&#8217;s ecosystems, agriculture and the essential natural byproducts produced.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"Image\" alt=\"Trees of Historic Bethlehem\"  width=\"880\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/static.lehigh-v.lehigh-valley.production.k1.m1.brightspot.cloud\/dims4\/default\/ed6cf29\/2147483647\/strip\/true\/crop\/1800x1013+0+0\/resize\/880x495!\/quality\/90\/?url=http%3A%2F%2Flehigh-valley-brightspot.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com%2F24%2F1a%2F2b8fe64c48b6a5102372a6c09c6c%2Fbees-tree-by-autumn-ford.jpeg\" loading=\"lazy\" bad-src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciIHZlcnNpb249IjEuMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSI0OTVweCIgd2lkdGg9Ijg4MHB4Ij48L3N2Zz4=\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Autumn Ford<\/p>\n<p>\/<\/p>\n<p>Distributed \/ Historic Bethlehem Museums &amp; Sites<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Trees of Historic Bethlehem,&#8221; celebrating 20 years this holiday season, will feature two decades of its fan-favorite Christmas trees on display through Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026. Shown above is the Bee Tree.<\/p>\n<p>A stroll in Historic Bethlehem<\/p>\n<p>The 21 trees are spread across three historic sites, all within a short distance of each other in Historic Bethlehem.<\/p>\n<p>They are The Single Sisters\u2019 House at 50 W. Church St., the Moravian Museum of Bethlehem in the 1741 Gemeinhaus at 66 W. Church St. and the Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts just around the corner at 427 N. New St.<\/p>\n<p>Organizers said to allow at least an hour for the self-guided tour across the three historic sites.<\/p>\n<p>Each person will get a guide booklet with tree descriptions and trivia, along with photos.<\/p>\n<p>    Get tickets to &#8220;Trees of Historic Bethlehem&#8221; and cast a vote for your favorite tree at historicbethlehem.org\/Christmas.<\/p>\n<p>Admission cost is $25 for adults and $23 for teachers and active military members\/veterans.<\/p>\n<p>Admission for children ages 4 and older is $14.
