{"id":66352,"date":"2025-12-20T21:19:23","date_gmt":"2025-12-20T21:19:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/66352\/"},"modified":"2025-12-20T21:19:23","modified_gmt":"2025-12-20T21:19:23","slug":"victim-of-dupont-house-fire-identified","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/66352\/","title":{"rendered":"Victim of Dupont house fire identified"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man killed in a fire that broke out in Dupont Borough on Tuesday morning has been identified as an elderly resident of the home.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Kudrako, 77, was pronounced dead following the fire at his home at 407 McLean St., Luzerne County Coroner Dion Fernandes said.<\/p>\n<p>Crews were dispatched to the home shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday and arrived to find a working fire with entrapment.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters removed Kudrako from the basement of the home, but he succumbed to his injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Units from across the region responded to the scene to assist with the fight.
