Divine Mercy Parish, Scranton, was the setting Saturday for the wedding of Elizabeth Corbett, Philadelphia, formerly of Scranton, and Conor Walsh, Philadelphia.<\/p>\n
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Corbett, Scranton. The bridegroom is the son of David and Liz Walsh, Havertown, formerly of Scranton.<\/p>\n
The Rev. Michael Bryant and the Rev. Paul McDonnell officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony.<\/p>\n
Cara Browning, Philadelphia, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Carolyn Baker, Scranton, cousin of the bride; Megan Owens, Scranton, cousin of the bride; Anna Vandegriff, New York City, cousin of the bride; Susan Occhipinti, Washington, D.C., cousin of the bride; Haileigh Finnerty, Philadelphia, cousin of the bride; and Kielty Eriksson, Stockholm, Sweden, sister of the bridegroom.<\/p>\n
Vera Renfroe, Philadelphia, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.<\/p>\n
Ushers were Matt Walsh, Philadelphia, brother of the bridegroom; Daniel Walsh, Chicago, Ill., brother of the bridegroom; Chris Corbett, Scranton, brother of the bride; Andrew Moran, Scranton, cousin of the bridegroom; Pat Mintzer, Havertown; Nick Chambers, Philadelphia; and Eric Lee, Havertown.<\/p>\n
A reception was held at Radisson at Lackawanna Station Hotel, Scranton.<\/p>\n
Elizabeth grew up in Minooka, graduated from Scranton High School and West Chester University and earned a master\u2019s degree in school counseling from the University of Scranton. She works as an elementary school counselor at the School District of Haverford Twp.<\/p>\n
Conor grew up in Havertown, graduated with a degree in marketing from Villanova University and works as a technical sales rep for SPS Clean Tech in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n
The couple met McGillin\u2019s Pub in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n
