NORTHAMPTON, Pa. – Santa got up bright and early to spend some time with the residents of Renaissance Senior Home in Northampton.<\/p>\n
Residents and their families came together to enjoy some hot cocoa, cookies and create some holiday ornaments.<\/p>\n
This was the first breakfast with Santa that Renaissance hosted — and it was important to the staff to create an environment for residents enjoy the holiday.<\/p>\n
“I try to decorate the building because it’s their home. I wanna make sure that every day they get to see a tree lit up, or presents underneath, and just have time with their families because a lot of them don\u2019t get to go out so it’s a good chance for them to come here and spend the holiday with them,\u201d said Leeshia Rehrig, administrator at the senior home.<\/p>\n
