A 49-year-old Scranton man was killed in a crash early Sunday morning in Wayne County, Chief Deputy Coroner Mark James announced in a news release.<\/p>\n
The coroner\u2019s office responded to 243 Finn Swamp Road, Paupack Twp., for the report of a motor vehicle collision, and James pronounced Kevin Dexter Laborde dead at 4:55 a.m., according to the news release.<\/p>\n
Laborde \u2014 a passenger in the back of a sedan \u2014 was ejected from the vehicle after the car left the roadway and struck multiple trees, James said in the release.<\/p>\n
State police are investigating the crash and an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, officials said.<\/p>\n
