ALLENTOWN, Pa. – It was a day dedicated to giving back at this Allentown barbershop.<\/p>\n

Lehigh Valley Barbershop East<\/a> was the home of the Bigger than Me LV Christmas giveaway drive on Sunday.<\/p>\n

This was the 4th year doing it.<\/p>\n

The first 25 kids got a free haircut voucher — and they were giving away toys as well to those in need!<\/p>\n

Organizers say the inspiration for this comes from personal experience.<\/p>\n

“We do it for the kids because my mom wasn’t able to do a lot for us,” said Udae Dolondon, co-owner of the barber shop. “Now that we’re able and we have the funds we want to be able to do it every year. It’s a lot of single mothers out here, a lot of single fathers and you know it’s hard.”<\/p>\n
