{"id":67290,"date":"2025-12-22T05:20:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-22T05:20:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/67290\/"},"modified":"2025-12-22T05:20:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-22T05:20:08","slug":"vehicle-crashes-into-allegheny-county-fire-station-another-crashes-just-outside-wpxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/67290\/","title":{"rendered":"Vehicle crashes into Allegheny County fire station, another crashes just outside \u2013 WPXI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Pa. \u2014 An Allegheny County fire station was involved in a vehicle crash on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">In a release, the Harrison Hills VFC says emergency crews were called to the intersection of Freeport Road and Altermoor Drive in Harrison Township at 3:32 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Multiple calls had come in about a vehicle that had crashed into Harrison Hills Fire Station 169 and possibly caught fire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Harrison Hills says an off-duty Freeport Fire-EMS firefighter got inside the station and extinguished the vehicle that was on fire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">First responders also rescued someone from a second vehicle that had hit a telephone pole outside the station.
