Two men were shot when a fight broke out at the Frankford Transportation Center in Philadelphia on Monday morning, officials said.<\/p>\n

According to officials, two men were shot after a fight broke out at about 8:51 a.m. at the Frankford Transit Center, prompting, what they called, “a large police response.”<\/p>\n

Officials said officers arriving at the scene found two men who had been shot and both were transported to nearby hospitals. <\/p>\n

According to SEPTA officials, the shooting happened when two men were engaged in a fight in the lobby of the Frankford Transportation Center, located along the 5200 block of Frankford Ave.<\/p>\n

One of the men was shot in the shoulder during the fight, SEPTA officials said. <\/p>\n

Officials have not provided further information on the suspected gunman — or gunmen — in this incident, nor have they provided further information on the condition of the victims injured in this shooting. <\/p>\n

But, officials said, the shooting did not disrupt SEPTA’s service through that area during the morning commute. <\/p>\n

An investigation into this incident, officials said, is still ongoing. <\/p>\n
