Last year\u2019s program successfully recycled more than 4,000 trees, with the mulch generated used in the county\u2019s parks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The drop-off locations include:<\/p>\n<p>Boyce Park &#8211; Soccer Fields Parking LotDeer Lakes Park &#8211; Veterans Shelter Parking LotHarrison Hills Park &#8211; Parking Lot at Chipmunk Drive &amp; Cottontail DriveHartwood Acres Park &#8211; Middle Road Parking LotNorth Park &#8211; Swimming Pool Parking LotRound Hill Park &#8211; Alfalfa Shelter Parking LotSettlers Cabin Park &#8211; Park Administration OfficeSouth Park &#8211; Brightstar Parking Lot at the Corner of McConkey and Corrigan DriveWhite Oak Park &#8211; Chestnut Shelter Parking Lot<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The Allegheny County Parks Department emphasizes the importance of properly disposing of Christmas trees as they contribute to the parks\u2019 ecosystem.
