Progress is being made to repair a sinkhole on the trail that has caused a months-long closure.<\/p>\n<p>In October, the trail between Race Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard was closed after a large sinkhole formed beneath the asphalt just north of the SEPTA Bridge.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At the time, fencing was installed to block off the affected area as crews assessed the damage.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/srt.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>In an update, officials shared that repair work is now underway.
