It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Lakeland<\/a> ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-45 victory over the West Scranton Invaders<\/a>. For those keeping track at home, that’s the closest win the Chiefs have posted since December 11, 2024.<\/p>\n Lakeland’s victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cole Tonkin<\/a>, who posted 13 points. What’s more, Tonkin posted four boards, the most he’s had since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of David Naniewicz<\/a>, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.<\/p>\n Lakeland’s record now sits at 4-2. As for West Scranton, they dropped their record down to 4-2 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.<\/p>\n Lakeland has already played their next matchup, a 59-45 loss against Dunmore on the 19th. As for West Scranton, they also didn’t take long to hit the court again: they’ve already played their next contest, a 53-25 defeat against Valley View on the 19th.<\/p>\n
