PITTSBURGH \u2014 Shoppers crowded the Strip District on Wednesday morning in preparation for Christmas.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne year back, we kind of didn\u2019t have anything to do in the morning and my mom just said, kind of, \u2018want to go to the Strip?\u2019 And we\u2019re like, \u2018sure, let\u2019s do it.\u2019 And here we are 10, 11 years later still rocking it,\u201d said shopper Kyle Schinose. \u201cWe love it every year and we don\u2019t plan on stopping any time soon.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s kind of a tradition to come down here early in the morning to get those things for our dinner tonight,\u201d John Bamonte said.<\/p>\n
Vendors, too, are joining in on the excitement.<\/p>\n
\u201cLots of last-minute shoppers, people are in good moods,\u201d said vendor Kelly Sobczak. \u201cIt\u2019s so fun to see people pick out their pierogi and try to think who they\u2019re going to buy a pierogi for.\u201d<\/p>\n
