The new year is almost here, and foodies and shoppers in the region have much to look forward to in 2026.<\/p>\n

Dozens of businesses set to open in the coming months include Nori Japan<\/a> in Whitehall Township, Circle Caf\u00e9 on Main<\/a> in Nazareth, Weil\u2019s Doghouse Antiques<\/a> in Allentown, Katie\u2019s Country Kitchen<\/a> in North Whitehall Township and Pistachio Caf\u00e9<\/a>, The Blast Furnace<\/a> sports bar and Don Carlos Fine Mexican Food & Tequila Bar<\/a> in Bethlehem.<\/p>\n

Several chains, including Sheetz, Burlington, Sephora, PrimoHoagies, Jersey Mike\u2019s Subs and Tractor Supply Co., are also expanding their footprints in the region.<\/p>\n

But before we browse new stores and dig into new dishes in 2026, let\u2019s take a look back at some of the past year’s memorable moments – from bidding farewell to beloved restaurants such as Darto\u2019s, Petey\u2019s Eatey\u2019s, Southside 313 and Casa Catrina to welcoming new locations of popular chains such as Chipotle, Honeygrow, Marco\u2019s Pizza, Paris Baguette, Insomnia Cookies and Mason\u2019s Famous Lobster Rolls.\u00a0<\/p>\n
