Mrs. Grace Grady White, age 90, wife of the late Scott Arnett White of Scranton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.<\/p>\n
Mrs. White was born on October 30, 1935, in Florence County, a daughter of the late Willie Edward Grady and Geneva Freeman Grady. She was a lifelong and faithful member of Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. White loved God and her church and was known for her deep faith and trusting spirit.<\/p>\n
For many years, Mrs. White owned her beauty shop where she worked as a hairdresser before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and spending time with her late beloved husband of 53 years, planting a garden, working with her flowers. She shared a special bond with her nephew and his wife, who lovingly cared for her during her later years.<\/p>\n
Surviving are her nephew, Reuben White, and his wife, Carolyn White.<\/p>\n
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. White was preceded in death by her sisters, Elma Grady, Annie Mae Knotts, and Mamie Lee White.<\/p>\n
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow in the Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.<\/p>\n
